We are on the lookout for a safety-conscious and proactive Farm Hand to become a valued member of our team. If you're self-driven, hands-on, and thrive in outdoor environments, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Orchard Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging in various farm tasks such as planting, pruning, operating machinery, installing and maintaining irrigation systems, mowing, and general orchard upkeep.
  • Assisting with herbicide and pesticide applications.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and all relevant laws, particularly regarding workplace health and safety.


Requirements

Requirements:

To be successful for this position, you will have:

  • A valid C class drivers’ licence
  • A strong work ethic
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
  • A safety-first mindset and the ability to follow instructions

Candidates with the following experience and qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Previous experience in farm machinery maintenance
  • A Chemical User’s certificate
  • Forklift ticket
  • Certificate II/III in Rural Studies, Horticulture or Agriculture


Benefits

On offer for the successful candidate is an hourly rate based on the Horticulture Award. Your classification will be determined based on your skills and previous experience.
