We have an opportunity for a Mixed Farming Farm Hand to join the team at Old Bundemar Station. Comprising of 22,370 hectares and situated 30kms from Trangie, 48kms from Warren and 82kms from the regional centre Dubbo, in Central West NSW.

Old Bundemar is a diverse property with access to the Macquarie River for irrigation and has a strong cropping history complementing the merino ewe flock. The cropping enterprises consist of approximately 8,000ha dryland, 300ha flood irrigation (syphons) and approx. 300ha under pivots.  

We are seeking someone who has previous experience in dryland and irrigated cropping enterprises. Your main duties include all aspects of assisting the Farm Manager with the day to day running of the farm. 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A commitment to working safely 
  • A strong communicator and is self-motivated 
  • Able to take direction and show initiative
  • Be competent in GPS technology ie Greenstar
  • Competent operation of cropping machinery and irrigated row crop machinery
  • Can provide assistance with general station maintenance
  • Assist with livestock duties as required
  • Must have a driver's licence, HR license desirable
