About Pace

At Pace Farm, we’re proud of our strong family values that have guided us since the 1970s. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s largest egg producers, delivering the freshest, tastiest eggs nationwide. Our vision is simple yet powerful: Eggs for Everyone – ensuring that all Australians have access to nutritious, high-quality eggs every day. As the leading supplier of farm-fresh eggs and egg products, our mission is to continue setting the standard in the industry by valuing our people and equipping them with the skills to deliver top-quality products and service. With egg-citing growth and expansion on the horizon, now’s a great time to join us and be part of our continued success!

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities Manager – Farming and Operations to lead and coordinate key on-farm services across multiple sites. This newly created role is all about action — getting out on the ground, managing depopulation and shed cleaning processes, and making sure everything runs safely, smoothly, and on time. You’ll be responsible for scheduling crews, leading your own teams, and ensuring all activity aligns with our operational and biosecurity standards. With plenty of variety across locations, this role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, practical environment and enjoys making things happen. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with regular travel (2-3 days a week) to various sites.

What you’ll do

  • Manage daily operations, including bird movements, manure removal, and shed wash and disinfection.
  • Build and lead teams to meet farming requirements, providing necessary training.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of company policies.
  • Maintain compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards related to tasks.
  • Adhere to budget guidelines and achieve KPI targets.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management.

About You

Do you know what it’s like to wash a shed, run a crew, and get a job done right the first time? If you’ve got strong organisational skills, the ability to lead from the front, and you’re not afraid to get your boots dirty, this could be your next big move. You might come from an industrial cleaning, facilities, or agricultural background — what matters most is that you’re reliable, hands-on, and able to bring people together to get things done right. You’ll be travelling from site to site each week, so being mobile is key — but we’re flexible on where you’re based and welcome applicants from across the Sydney and Newcastle regions. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now to join our team and take the next step in your career!

What We’re Looking For

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Logistics, Business, or Project Management are advantageous but not essential
  • 5+ years’ management experience with a proven ability to lead teams and drive operational efficiency
  • Strong WHS knowledge and project delivery skills, with a focus on time, budget, and quality
  • Mechanically minded with a basic understanding of equipment maintenance
  • Skilled in leading multi-site teams, improving operations, and fostering collaboration
  • Organised, results-driven, and KPI-focused
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable working across teams and stakeholders
  • Willing to travel 2–3 days per week for site-based leadership

Why Join Pace Farm?

  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and growth.
